Oscar van der Kaap

Oscar Luis van der Kaap, geboren op 6-2-1972 in Enschede, zoon van Olf van der Kaap. Getrouwd op 11-07-1994 in Breda met Marcin (Tina) M.F. Trinidad, geboren op 24-05-1972 op Curaçao (gescheiden in 2007). Uit dit huwelijk:

• Yordi Xavie van der Kaap, geboren op 17-05-1998 in Breda.
• Thara Misjha-Louisze van der Kaap, geboren op 07-12-2003.

Oscar Van der Kaap began working with the Public Entity in November 2016, where he fills the position of Supervisor/Deputy Head Public Works’. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Breda Holland in 1997 where he studied at the Spectrum College as a Professional Land Surveyor. Since then he has been active in the Civil Engineering sector. In 2001 he moved back to Sint Maarten and worked for the local Kadastre’s office for 7 years, then moved into the private sector and returned to the Civil Engineering field. Then in 2010 he came to Saba, which he now calls home, where he assisted with the remodeling of the Fort Bay Harbor at the request of Windward/Saba Roads. Over the years within this Engineering sector he has accumulated manyskills, which he is now gladly using for the betterment of Saba. He is known as an “easily approachable person”, ready to assist and lend a helping hand or two.
